Oral presentations Instructions
Please arrive at your lecture room in time, it is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of their session in which you are presenting. Make sure that your presentation is copied to the PC used for presentations during the break previous to your presentation at the latest. Preferably bring your presentation in a USB memory stick.

The duration of each presentation slot is 25 minutes, including time for the actual presentation (20 min) and questions from the audience (5 min). Please practice your presentation in advance; the session chair may cut the presentation short whenever necessary.

Equipment used for presentations:  
PC with Microsoft Windows Vista with PowerPoint 2007 and Acrobat Reader 9.0.
Data/video projector
Microphone
Laser pointer

Using the computer provided by the conference organizers is highly recommended, but a personal laptop computer (and other personal equipment) may also be used, if necessary. Note that the AC voltage in Mexico is 120V (60Hz), American type plug (American standard NEMA 5-15).

The name of your presentation file must start with the session name and number of your presentation within the session (as shown in the program), and followed by an underscore and the first author surname.

Do not put an excessive amount of text on your slides. Generally, all text should be 18 points or larger. Use clearly contrasting colors. Use graphics and colors to illustrate your presentation.

Poster presentations instructions
All posters must be printed in advance. No support will be given for printing at the conference venue.

Please prepare a 5-6 slides presentation to introduce your poster. All posters will be introduced orally in the technical session just before their corresponding poster session.  The time slot for the introduction of each poster will be 3-4 min. No questions from the audience will be allowed at the poster introduction sessions.

The name of your poster presentation file must start with the poster session name and number of your poster within the session (as shown in the program), and followed by an underscore and the first author surname.

Poster  size and format

There is not a strict limit on poster dimensions, although we recomend not to exceed 100cm x 140cm (width x height). Posters will be attached to the stands by conference staff. Please leave your poster with the staff at the registration desk at least one hour before the beginning of your poster session. The presenting author must be at the poster only during the poster session.

Include the title of the paper on the top of the poster, in capital letters. Insert author names and affiliations below the title. The flow of the poster should be from the top left to the bottom right. Multiple columns can also be used. Using graphics and colors to illustrate your presentation is highly recommended.
